Our office is able to deliver both the surgical and restorative phases of implant care, which avoids the snafus and hang-ups of having more than one doctor perform these intense, complicated services. Our patients receive the benefit of having all their treatment performed under one roof, without the hassles, duplication of effort, and waste of time involved in being referred to another office. Responsibility for the whole treatment scenario rests solely with our office, with the all too often seen chance of misunderstanding between offices negated.
 
Throughout his career, Dr. Jim Pollard has developed particular expertise in dental implantology. In addition to receiving implant training at the Medical College of Georgia Maxi-Course, Dr. Pollard is an Associate Fellow of the American Association of Implant Dentistry, and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.. Through his training in the latest implant techniques, Dr. Pollard is able to provide beautiful, healthy looking smiles to patients who are missing their natural teeth.
 
In an effort to make services available to an all too often neglected segment of the population, Dr. Pollard and staff are able to deliver sedation dentistry to apprehensive patients, resulting in a much easier, relaxed appointment, with the added bonus of being able to complete more treatment for each appointment. Patients who have been unable, for whatever reason, to tolerate dental procedures can now receive the best modern dentistry has to offer, safely and comfortably in our Lynchburg and Smith Mountain Lake (SML) offices.
